With Mother's Day coming up and the flowers finally starting to pop up, many of our recent activities and art crafts have to do with flowers! Not to mention our sensory table! I have a plethora of silk flowers and different size baskets from when I use to set up a flower shop in my Kindergarten classroom for Spring. So I decided to get the "flower shop" out for the girls and add it to our sensory table. There is also laminated flower cards, felt flowers and two of my favorite books about flower gardens. The girls love to fill the baskets with different flowers and then carry them around the house. Sometimes Dixie is even lucky enough to receive a basket of flowers!
